Foot pedals – HPI no longer sells foot pedals, but foot pedals are plug and play, which means that no installation software is necessary to use them. The SUM Program software contains all necessary instructions to operate the foot pedal. 

Transcript Answer Keys are included on the SUM Program CD’s and flash drives enabling students to correct their own work. The transcript keys are password activated. Instructors are required to assist students with this. HPI does not give passwords to students. Please e-mail any questions to hpi@hpisum.com and use “Transcript Key Password” in the subject line. We will verify your purchase before assisting with the password.

 
Exams are available on the BMT2 and STU transcription CD’s. Teachers can select “random dictation” for exam purposes on the AMT. Exam passwords are necessary to access exams and are provided by HPI to schools only. Exam answer keys are available in hard copy only. Contact hpi@hpisum.com for exam questions.

Curriculum guidelines are available in The Teacher’s Manual to assist teachers with planning, adapting, or expanding an existing transcription training program. The Teacher’s Manual also includes guidelines for introductory, vocational or one-semester to three semester programs.
